Navy Federal Credit Union Volunteers and the Spooky Beavers Aren’t Scared to Blaze Trails

The Spooky beavers have been hard at work at Prince William Forest Park with a little help from friends. Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) volunteers participated in trail blazing. Spooky Beaver PATC Co-District Manager Prince William Forest Park Mark Ellis worked closely with Michelle Chelnik from NFCU to reschedule the May 10th rain out to May 17th.  The NFCU group was divided into three groups led by Spooky Beaver Mentors. The volunteers were led by PATC Mentors Mark Ellis, Dennis Calhoun, Nathan Dugan and Bruno Carlot. NFCU volunteers Christophor Hutchinson, Michelle Chelnik, Joy Hackenbrecht, Claire Linville, Abdi Warsame, Eric Sammons, Madhuri Tata, Edgar Morales, David Sheehan and David DePaso. The NFCU volunteers were given orientation and blazing instruction by Mark Ellis. The group worked several hours completing the Farm to Forest Extension Tr, Oakridge Tr and the Farm to Forest Tr trailhead.
